Carol Alway began her formal pursuit of fine arts at California State University, Long Beach. Her chosen career of interior design afforded her the unique working balance between art and design. While living in Europe for six years, Carol further developed her artistic talent to include textiles, sculpting, painting and paper making.
In 1999, Carol moved to San Diego where the emphasis of her work has been the design and rendering of murals for residential and commercial buildings as well as military vessels. More recently, the wet noses and furry ears of her animal subjects have become the focus of her artistic passion. Carol immortalizes their spirit amid a colorful surround, resplendent in an array of electric hue and an impressionistic edgy style.
